Housework and Exercise

I spend a lot of time wiping the kitchen bench and the kitchen table; I counted it the other day, 15 times! Even a simple chore can help tone up the upper body, particularity shoulders, arms and stomach.

So next time you're in the kitchen or even ironing, put one leg slightly in front of the other and lightly bend at your hips. Relax the shoulders and elbow of your wiping arm as you make circular movements with your hand. Move your weight forwards and backwards through your feet, while keeping your chest lifted. This enables you to generate force from your mid-back
and core. “Do not lean against the bench, as this will switch of your stomach muscles".

Do not slump your back as his will use the wrong muscles, aggravate your back, and you'll miss out on a great work out.

Tips: When wiping benches use the other hand, and reverse your circular movements.
